I agree. I've had DirecTV since about 1995 and never had an issue with it. I'm upgrading to HD on the 23rd and I hope that doesn't change the quality of service.

I've been a very satisfied DTV customer for 10 years now......

I've had the new HD-DVR for about three months now with no problems.

I don't care for the menus and such, compared to my old TIVO unit, but I'm slowly adapting.

And it's nice not to need an OTA antenna to watch locals in HD.

i have had DTV since about 98' and not one real problem with it. I wouldnt ever go back to cable. Since then, both my neighbors converte to DTV, and my sister.
