Special Sprint or Nextel Plan for the Holidays- For everyone

I seen this in the Sprint Forums and thought it was worth posting here. Mods I know it is a New SERO Thread but felt it may be worth a new thread if you disagree you can consolidate it.

"SERO Referral Plan Now Open to ANYONE!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just found this out:

Limited Time! Sprint Employee Referral Pricing Now Available to the Public
Just for the holidays, Sprint is extending family and friends discounts to the general public.

To take advantage of exclusive pricing, visit http://www.sprint.com/sero and use the open access email address of [email protected]. You can then choose from a huge selection of phones and broadband cards with device and service pricing normally reserved only to family and friends.

This offer requires a new device with activation of a new line of service and two-year subscriber agreement. Subject to credit approval. Up to $36 activation & $200 early termination fees apply per line. Offers available at website only; see other details/restrictions at www.sprint.com/sero.

Hurry! Although Sprint may extend, this offer currently ends Dec. 18, 2006."

I tried using the above information on the NEXTEL side and it worked.

Ohio Calling
its been a well known tip to get an sprint employees email address and sign up under this before but now its legit for everyone!

its a great plan $30 for 500 anytime Min. and Unlimited everything else (N&W, data, MMS, Power Vision, Walkie Talkie)

if you do sign up PM me and i will show you how to get a $25 visa card sent to your house as well

***EDIT: You can Take advantage of the deal if you are in contract ONLY IF you switch from sprint to nextel or nextel to sprint ... now once you switch get your new plan and then see that nextel had better service than sprint you can switch back and keep your new rate plan... sell the sprint (or nextel phone) on ebay and enjoy your profit******

***EDIT #2:

I had Sprint service for more than 5 years in KC and it was near perfect. I did used to work for them, but I don't have any love for them still. Just stating the fact that I got high quality cell service.

Anyway, as far as the referral stuff, every cellphone provider has that. Just locate one person on earth who already has the service and have them check the website for it.

I've set some people up with Cingular that way and we were both sent a $25 Cingular gift card that you can apply to your bill or whatever.

I just signed up for this. This is a great deal solely for the monthly price and unlimited free data usage. I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier but it is still available until March 31

What I want to know is if the sprint and nextel coverage maps are now one in the same. Seems to me that they are still considered two separate maps. The Sprint map seems to have great coverage but the Nextel map is still spotty at best.

Since this got bumped anyway, I have had the SERO plan for months now. Love it. Zero problems. No dropped calls or anything stupid like that, either. Coverage everywhere in the metro area.

Does anybody know if I get a .05 cent credit from Sprint when I have a dropped call? I get them all the time in my house, and I'd really like to call in everyday and ask them to credit my account for my dropped calls. Just to be a dbag, and hopefully they may cancel my service. I an unable to talk on the phone in my home, and it's a challenge to ge ta text message to go through.
