I don't think he has very good hands or runs precise routes. Whenever I saw him play (I watch a lot of SEC games) he would have multiple drops per game. Other WRs from the SEC (Robert Meachem, Sidney Rice) along with Jarrett and, of course, Calvin Johnson, are better, IMO.

Weaknesses:
Timed speed is only average at best and he is not overly quick...Has had a lot of trouble with dropped balls...Is still raw and relatively new to the game...Let's the ball get into his body too often...Needs to become a better route runner...Won't stretch the field, struggles to separate and he isn't a big play threat...Is not there yet when it comes to identifying coverages...Needs to show better concentration.

The first bolded part is my major problem with him.

JaMarcus Russell ran a 4.83 forty at the LSU Pro Day Wednesday.

Russell is now 6-5/256, so he's shed nine lbs. since the Combine, but it didn't help his time. WR Craig Davis may have solidified a first-day pick with times of 4.44 and 4.41. Dwayne Bowe improved markedly, running a 4.4 flat and a 4.49 after scoring an official 4.51 at the Combine.

As I stated above, before the posted review:
