Not if there were Jaguar starters on the defense on the field. It's not all meaningless. Brodie has proved what he could do, if given the chance.

He deserves to be rewarded for that.

HOOTIE OUT

I'm going to watch the Bears game...I don't really feel like debating this right now.

I'm a Chiefs fan, this loss sucked...I don't care about Huard or Croyle or LJ...I was hoping we'd be 3-2...

Correction. Tony G and D-Bowe only showed up today.

Huard made some horrible passes. D-Bowe caught 1 badly thrown pass and almost another badly thrown pass.

Huard is very very very inconsistant and very very very inaccurate.

Jay Cutler isn't that good...he's a gunslinger with a passive attitude, just like Brodie Croyle.

And I'm never up for a 5-11 season when we have a 9 or 10 win team. That's stupid.
Cutler is in his 2nd year, and still playing. Why do you think The Rat is still gonna keep trotting him out there?

Oh, I know, becuase Cutler needs to get some experence.

Huard consistently does one thing....

Throws HIGH to our WR's

I am ready to see Croyle in there and see what his arm strength can bring to the passing game.

I still do not understand how you blind idiots think Huard's passes are on target. Bowe and Gonzo make a good catch everytime. Praise Bowe and Gonzo, not Huard's bullshit noodlearm. GO WATCH THE TAPE FFS.

Huard also does not scramble at all, or step up in the pocket. He takes his steps drop, stands there for 2 seconds and if a receiver isn't open he checks down or just falls over. We might as well just put 1 receiver on the field. WONDERFUL SKILL!

Huard didn't play bad today. .

Huard has a 4:6 TD:INT Ratio....he holds the ball too long, has no mobility, takes sacks, fumbles the ball and has pathetic accuracy.

In his first 5 starts, if Croyle has a worse TD:INT Ratio.....you can own my avatar for the entire offseason.

Ah, don't feel like debating this eh? Obviously you just got owned.

This loss sucked, I'll give you that, but again, if the Chiefs are going to be any type of a condender, they need to groom Brodie. Every great team that exists right now has grown their own QBs. If you never take a chance, you'll end up with 2 decades of mediocrity. We tried it Carl's way of only using retreads as QBs. It didn't work, and it's still not working.

[QUOTE=Hootie]The center and the right side of the line were awful, Huard delivered a lot of good passes in the face of pressure SEVERAL times...

the left side sucked too, lets face it. Pass protection is decent but not any one of our linemen are executing good run blocking not even Waters

That plus he can't throw downfield so the safeties are free to creep up in run support. Give Croyle a chance to make a difference. We are running in sand with Huard.
