Even if the Chargers lose in the first round again, they're rid of Marty, his family and their meddling. The Chargers will make the playoffs again and at least there's harmony in the front office. Marty hasn't ever proved anything from a personnel standpoint. His draft partnership with Carl Peterson never yielded an NFL starting QB, RB, WR, DT or LB. How can a potential GM not get lucky with all of those first day drafts? Especially, if it's as you say "closely related"? Quote:
