So tell me, What have I missed?

Been away for almost a year, in fact it has been over a year since I posted regularly. Been a screwed up year, that for sure. First my heart attack in August, then to make for a lovely fall, my wife moved out 36 days after my heart problems. Then on Nov 6, my divorce was final. Luckily I have custody of all 4 kids. So now I'm trying to figure how to do all this crap by myself.

Anyway, I suffered through the season in quite solitude, though I would sneak a peek of the BB once in awhile. Just to make sure I was the only one who was let down by KC this year.

So tell me, wtf have I missed ? I notice that there are a lot of new members, and many of the old seem to not be around.

*Edit* Oh yea forgot the last really great news, I'm stuck at home because my car is 55 miles north in MT, with a blown Transmission!!!!!!!!

And SpongeBob really is starting to make a LOT of Sense Today

Please lets also hear from those of you who have gone tru this Divorce crap. Tell me how it gets Better?

Oh and before someone says it, YES I KNOW my life is a friggen Soap opera

Good to here you're doing well. Nothing here has changed, a few idiots, a lot of cool people, a few misunderstandings and a few clear conflicts.

Hi JOhn, welcome back. Sorry about your recent misfortunes. At least you still have your kids, that has to be a big plus.

As to the board, I think you'll still like it just fine since you were always a guy who came here for fun and conversation. I never got the impression your ego was dependent on the Planet. And yes, after all you've been through and are going through, a time waster is probably in order.

Lives misfortunes

I'm new to the boards but wanted to help on the divorce thing and my experience. I'm in the middle of one right now. Although not having a medical problem as tramatic as what you went through, I have cervical disk degenative disease and had a cage placed in my neck in 1998 and been downhill ever since. Been on disability for 6 years and last April my wife decided she wanted to split and blamed it on my two kids from a previous marriage instead of the problems that had grown through time between her and I. Plus she inherited about $2 million dollars from an old gentleman we took care of, the will listing only her and not me. Hang in there it will get better. Time will heal all wounds. Although being in the middle of the divorce tends to make one strongly dislike the other, I will always hold a special place in my heart for her. But healing will take time just like the physical healing that your body is undergoing right now.

I guess I shouldn't mention the young lady I've been emailing all nite?

Man sorry to hear about your back, as I too have been fighting that battle for several years also. Though my problem is at the lower end of the spine. Unfortunatly mine is not operatable ( less than 50% success) so I'm stuck with just meds, MSCotin. My doctor wants me to apply for disability, but still not sure.
