The Bengals still need heaps of help at LB, DE, DT, and OLB. Now they need help at WR as well.
Many options for them at this point, but it's hard to see where they'd go. Kendall Langford is a gigantic 300 lb DE/DT prospect, but the Bengals want a pass rusher, and really Thompson from Wake Forest projects to be just that, although he's got a ways to go before he becomes the man who single-handedly solves the Bengals' woes. LB doesn't really yield a lot for them at this point. Dizon is a known quantity, but doesn't have much of a ceiling. He may be a good LB in the right scheme but I don't know if he's meant for Cincinnati's scheme. The Bengals already drafted two LBs already anyway, although to be honest, another couldn't hurt. WR yeilds more interesting returns for the stripes. Arrington played very well in Michigan as the #2 option to Manningham, a role he'll justly assume to TJ and CJ. Could be a great #3 guy in the NFL, we'll see. He's got the skills of a possession receiver, but he needs to add quite a bit of weight, which he can, but it'll probably be a season before he fills out his frame considering how thin he is. Keenan Burton is your home run threat role player. He's got a lot of jukes and moves in a decently sized package with fairly good speed, but he can simply be dynamite in the open field. And if you're looking purely for a guy with incredible open field ability to simply stun defenders in their tracks, look at Dorien Bryant, who's a poor man's Steve Smith in terms of his sheer athletic ability. My pick for the Bengals would be one of the WRs, particularly either Arrington or Burton. I believe Burton would make the better fit. |

I think the Saints have filled adequately most of the holes they had coming into the offseason.
They signed Dan Morgan and Vilma to work on their LBs, Cro will be a great CB and Gay should be a solid backup, Sims gives them the massive NT they need, and Keller is a much needed presense at TE. That said, Bush can't return kicks for them anymore, so Dexter Jackson looks very appetizing. Wheatley and Lowery are still on their board as well, and you can never have too many corners. |

Man, the Saints are really having problems making a decision.
I'll have my pick in shortly. I'm not terribly thrilled with any of my options. |

Damn.
The Saints have come to the conclusion that anyone they were looking at is likely to be no more than a STer, and will struggle to ever break the starting lineup. With the Saints weakness at WILL, they considered Jordon Dizon, but feel he'll never be more than a ST specialist. CB was considered for a brief moment, but felt that unless there was an absolute steal there, that it wasn't worth over-crowding an already crowded defensive backfield. The have McKensie, Gay, Rodgers-Cromartie, spent a ton of money on Jason David, and a 3rd rounder last year on Usama Young. It's highly unlikely that Dwight Lowery or Terrence Wheatley would see any PT over that group for the next few years. Tom Zbikowski was considered briefly as well, as a punt returner and special teams ace. Not sure that he translates well to the NFL at the safety position. So.... That leaves the one guy that the Saints feel can make the biggest impact on the team. The New Orleans Saints select Dexter Jackson, WR, Appalachian State He'll likely never be more than a 4th WR in the league, but has the potential to be the next Devin Hester, Dante Hall or Deion Sanders type return man. A serious threat every time he touches the ball. The Jags are on the clock. |

The Jaguars have some of the same issues that the Saints just had. There really isn't anybody out there that is a steal right now. The Jags could possibly take a WR but it's like an f'ng logjam at that position right now. CB is the same way. So I guess you have to go with the old motto: Build your lines first.
The Jacksonville Jaguars select Robert Felton, OG, Arkansas. Felton should be able to at least contribute immediately at either of the guard positions in the Jags running game. The Broncos are on the clock. |

Guys-
If you're not doing it already, do everyone a favor and PM the GM behind you after you've made your pick to let him know he's on the clock. Things have been running pretty smooth, and this is an easy way to keep it that way. TIA |

I'd say you see either Lowery or Wheatley go to the Donks right now. They have a lot of uncertainty at the position behind Bailey and Bly. Foxsworth and Paymah are decent-to-good backups, but they're both free agents.

Javon Walker is gone, Brandon Marshall is very lucky and Brandon Stokley is the other starting WR. It pains me to do this but the Donkies select wide receiver, from the University of Michigan, Adrian Arrington.

After losing Bryant Johnson in FA the Cardinals could use some depth at WR and we are pleased that this player is still available. Time for the "Helicopter" to land.
The Arizona Cardinals select WR Will Franklin, Missouri |
