Absolutely, I'm not knocking it. All the same, for a school with little basketball tradition, we are thrilled with our two NC's and the promise of future success that comes with Billy Donovan at the helm.

But when the "we're one of only two teams" statements come out, I'm obligated to point out that one accomplishment was a little higher than the other (moreso if you take into account that our bball team went on to win it again).

Same here. I am will take another BCS win from football this year and be just as thrilled...

Crap I will take a Cotton bowl win from KU this year in football and another FF in basketball.

Which with the departures coming from KU to the NBA, It will be awful hard for KU to get back to the FF... UNLESS, Chalmers and Aurthur come back.

Same deal here. I have friends who are Tennessee alum and they spout off about how they beat our 2x bball NC team 3 out of 4 times. Good for them. We were NC's. They weren't.
