To all the nay sayers I say this:

When Leonard Davis was available, I and a few others wanted the Chiefs to go after him. The Cowboys signed him; figured out how to use him and sent him to ProBowl. I say if Starks is reasonably priced lets go after him. We have more than one hole in the O-line to try to fit him into.

Brilliant strategy for a team that is rebuilding.

Spend $49M on a guy who is going to turn 30 in Spetember.

A guy who's never been successful without talent around him. He wouldn't have that luxury in KC, just like he didn't have it in Arizona, where interestingly enough, he sucked.

A guy who will be gone by the time this team is any good.

Damn, people are impatient. For the first time in over 20 years, they are trying to build a team the RIGHT way, and people are bitching, wanting them to sign any FA OLmen they can just to fill some holes NOW.
