OTW has three hours to make a decision -- he was on CP today, too. Hm.
Soon as that time period expires, I'll make a call and OTW/Mecca may deem it worthy for us to move on. In other words, Mr Flopnuts is on deck. |

Actually, he told us to pick for him, so I guess you could go ahead of you wanted to.

Here's their underwhelming Draft so far: 2. DT Trevor Laws 3. OLB Geno Hayes 4. DE Jason Jones 5. QB John David Booty 6. ... We're not exactly writing love songs here about what the Colts have done, and they've still got a couple holes to fill, primarily for their interior line or wide receiver. The two guys I like for them are Connecticut's Donald Thomas, who's a shifty, barely undersized guard who'd be ideal for Indy's ZBS, and Utah State's sleeper pick, Kevin Robinson. Thomas right now seems like a brighter option to me considering Indy's troublesome lack of depth inside, but Robinson's the kind of explosive hands-of-glue playmaker who could have a high ceiling if given a year of good coaching. Kevin Robinson is a potential playmaker from a small school with a lot more promise in Indy's system than Thomas has, particularly because Peyton is probably screaming at their GM right now because he hasn't drafted anyone at a position they're perilously thin at. Robinson needs a year to bulk up and of course, he needs to adjust to NFL speed. With the 187th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select WR Kevin Robinson from Utah State University. |

So the New England Patriots have an ancient linebacking corp. It was addressed in the 2nd round with Xavier Adibi. It will be addressed again.
With the 188th pick in the draft the New England Patriots select Beau Bell LB UNLV |

That's a really messed up value chart you must have anyway, with Bell all the way as 6th round value.

I was amazed he wasn't gone. Turns out he was. Anyways, sticking with the theme, the New England Patriots select Lamar Myles LB Louisville A project, the kid may end up playing safety, but will be a force on special teams. Worth a 6th round pick IMO.

The New York Giants select from the University of Kentucky, tight end, Jacob Tamme.
I've got a feeling that Shockey is done with the NYG. Hamas is up 2x to kick off the seventh and final round. Last edited by Sfeihc; 04-18-2008 at 05:51 AM.. |

I think Tamme has some impressive upside. Tamme is a pure receiving TE, hell he's only like 230 lbs, but he's such a great receiver that if he can bulk up and improve other aspects of his game, he could have a very high ceiling.

Jack Ikegwuonu...ProFootballTalk.com reports as the draft approaches Wisconsin CB Jack Ikegwuonu supposedly has informed multiple teams that he’ll sit out the entire 2008 season and re-enter the draft in 2009, if he isn’t picked in one of the first two rounds.
