If you listened to that radio broadcast there is something wrong with you. The fact that bob davis and denny do the games now sucks. give me ryan spitt or ryan denny is good but man does bob davis sucksssserrs

Last night in the 2nd game they had frank white alternating with ryan and split, it was great to listen to him and his thoughts and play by play.

I imagine frank white still wants to coach/manage but yeah white and those old guys knew how to get shit done. it is too bad we haven't had people who knew how to WIN in years. those guys knew baseball inside in out and worked their asses off. I guess we also let a shitton of guys go that were good. sigh. Mine as well put anyone who played from 77 until 89 in the royals hall of fame.

Noticed there wasn't one for today. Maybe that's what was needed since they've scored six this inning so far to take a four-run lead. I think with Gordon batting, they've actually batted around.

B. Butler singled to left, J. Guillen scored, M. Teahen to third

- R. Gload reached on fielder's choice, M. Teahen scored, B. Butler to second on shortstop D. Eckstein's fielding error

- J. Buck doubled to left, B. Butler scored, R. Gload to third

- D. DeJesus singled to right, R. Gload and J. Buck scored, T. Pena Jr. to third

8-4 now. They shelled Downs, who in my opinion is one of the better situational lefties in the bigs, over the last 2 years or so... underrated

Shelled him? Looked like a horrible error by Eckstein on a DP ball, and then a series of well-placed bloop hits. In any event, Royals>Jays.

some were inherited runners, but i struggle to find any other term of import when you let 6 runs in and don't get anyone out.

He got a clean double play ball that his SS booted. The inning would have been over. Sorry, but this one is on David Eckstein, not Scott Downs.

not beating up on him, he's a fine pitcher. perhaps the term was too strong.
