What to drink?

Does anyone drink "Old Fashioneds" anymore? I haven't had one in a long time, but they weren't too bad, as I recall, Ms. luv.

Just bourbon, bitters, sugar, and soda, I think. Maybe a lemon twist, or something.

I drink old fashioneds around Christmast time. I've always seen them with an orange slice and marchiano cherry. My recipie:

About 2 tsp of sugar in the bottom of the glass.
3 drops of bitters
muddle an orange slice in the sugar and bitters

Add ice to the top of the glass.
Rye wiskey (my favorite over bourbon, Canadian Mist or Scotch, which are alternatives) about 3/4 of the way up the glass.
Add a little water.

Stir well and garnish with a marchiano cherry.
