LJ's current trade value?

During his contract dispute prior to the '07 season, the rumor was that the Packers were offering a 1st rounder for the tippy-toeing, easy to tackle former pro-bowler.

Any thoughts on what kind of compensation LJ would command now?

I'm guessing a 2nd rounder from a desperate team if we were lucky.

LJ IS AWESOME!!!!!!

Larry Johnson is now being replaced in the Chiefs' goal-line package.

L.J. was in on just one of four plays inside the New England five-yard line in Week 1 and didn't play on Kansas City's lone scoring drive in Week 2. It isn't like the Chiefs are going to be in scoring position often this year, but goal-line carries were about the only thing L.J. had left going for him.

http://www.rotoworld.com/content/pla...aspx?sport=NFL

They must think he still has tremendous drive and heart to do this.

The Chiefs should have traded LJ when they had the chance. I thought so at the time and even more so now. He is an OK runner when motivated but he was totally a product of an awesome offesive line as was Preist. He has always had a shitty attitude and added no value to a young team. However when you watched Hard Knocks last year these morons were talking like they had a chance to compete for a SuperBowl in training camp. I can still remember my shock as the horse shit spewed out of Herms mouth. At that point I knew he was a reeruned **** wad and had to go ASAP. By the end of last year he was saying "We're rebuidling, get over it."

I have been a Chiefs fan for thirty years and always will be. I even tried my best to give him a chance this year but my patience is gone. I see no improvement in the young guys and he is only ruining chance they have of being productive NFL players. The play calling and effort I saw on Sunday was the worst that I can ever remember. At this point I can't even see how I'm going to watch this team the rest of the year. I have pretty much decided I will watch all games on short cuts so the pain only lasts thirty minutes.

I appreciate your postitive attitude in a way, but LJ will be worthless by the time this team is good again. Get what you can for him while you can. But most importantly they have to get rid of this ****ing front office and coaching staff. I would like to know what GM has had his job for 18 years much less one that has never won dick.

How about this, banyon.

The day it's first and goal inside the five, when it's not a passing situation, and Larry Johnson is NOT in the game, then you can call me a genious.

He's still going to receive the majority, IF NOT ALL, of the goal line carries this year. How many goal line carries have we even handed out this year? One? WHO GOT IT?

Thought you promised that you were gonna root for another team if the Chiefs lost to the Raiders?

Did you not welch that bet again?

No I think I'll keep calling you by whatever accolades you continue to pile up here, irrespective of who's on the goal line.

But in this instance, I really don't even have to hesitate for a millisecond about who knows more about the Chiefs, you or Adam Teicher.

Well guess what, Huard boy. Your opinions in here don't mean shit any more, becuase you made that promise, your responsibility is to follow your "new" team.

I sure wish Endelt was here so we could have another "Slayer abusing" with you.
