In comparison Herm has 26 combined picks and 22 are still with the team. Last Sunday 11 rookies played in the game and they had a great showing. In 3 years the Chiefs have gone from the oldest team in the NFL to the youngest. If the QB position was in better shape I'm sure all the discussion on this board would be much better in tone.

But, to be fair, our drafting sucked long before DV arrived. Long before. Bad drafting is one of the things the Chiefs are good at. As for the number of Herm's picks that are still on the team, he started drafting in 2006. Of course a lot of those guys are still on the team.

And, Tait was drafted in 1999. Well before the Vermeil era.
