You're crazy. As soon as the QB discussion comes up, how many times have you read, "It won't matter until they fix the O-line."

By the same stupid people.

Oher's great as long as he grades out as Orlando Pace, no QB proves worthy and/or Albert isn't too special.

Maybe this is the case. The extremely vocal stupid minority? Perhaps...

Which is true.

But that doesn't equal advocating DRAFTING Michael Oher.

Matter of fact, his name has been rarely mentioned around here the past few months.

It's all been Stafford, Bradford, Crabtree and Johnson.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this, then. 75 percent might be hyperbole, but I'd bet the board would be pretty evenly split between OL and QB. Hell, there are quite a few that still think Croyle might end up being the answer. How? **** if I know.

Personally, this team is so bad I'd still vote for best player available. The rest of you are idiots.

There's no question we need talent, everywhere. If Albert ends up continuing to play well the rest of the season, though, it might be tough to justify doubling up at LT, since you'd never take a RT that high.

Don't agree. I'm not saying Oher is the pick... but if he is the most talented player in the draft, I wouldn't have a problem picking him and moving Albert to RT. This team is not good enough to be doing stuff like that.

This is gonna come across as a bad example because he hasn't blossomed yet, but it's like not picking Alex Gordon because you have Mark Teahen at third... despite the fact that every fan, scout, coach, etc all almost universally agreed Gordon was the 2nd best player in the draft. Our offensive line is not that great yet... I don't have a problem with adding talent whereever we can find it.

For the sake of argument, I didn't think Albert would project well at RT.

As a general rule, I agree with that philosophy.

However, you also have to weigh positional value and position drafted into the equation.

Teams are not going to draft LT in the first round in consecutive years.
