People can talk all they want about Bill Walsh's genius in creating the west coact offense, but the fact is, Hank was doing much of same thing with his offense, except that he was also using a moving pocket as part of his offensive package as well, which was something that no one had really done before him. He also created the stack defense, which utilized Bobby Bell as a down D-Lineman or a LB depending on situation, effectively becoming the first to use a 3-4 defense. I'd be happy as hell to get a coach in here that's as innovative as Hank was.
