I was actually thinking this too, but as a Defense in a DUI case.

The problem is that decent breathalyzers have to be periodically maintained and calibrated, and most importantly kept clean. The people most likely to use this device would probably have it laying around or gunked up in their pockets with gum or tobacco or who know what and they might think they were fine.

But still, I guess for the people that can use it, it's better than not being concerned about it. It might lead to people at least thinking "whoa I blew a .32, maybe i should get a ride."
