Sam Bradford seriously contemplating the NFL

I know some of us have been stating for a while now that Bradford would declare for the draft, contrary to what SOME would tell you. It's looking more and more like Bradford will put his name in the upcoming draft...

OU's Sam Bradford will consider NFL

NORMAN — Sam Bradford isn’t shutting the door on the NFL.

The Oklahoma quarterback plans to consider every bit of information available about his NFL Draft prospects before making a decision.

"It’s something me and my dad talked about — in order to make a decision, in order to make the best decision, you need as much information as possible,” Bradford said Tuesday afternoon. "So whether it’s to stay or to go, we’ll see.”

A redshirt sophomore, Bradford would forego two years of eligibility if he decides to leave early.

Having talked to his parents and his position coach, Bradford wants to weigh his options before making his decision.

Bradford’s father, Kent, and Sooner quarterback coach Josh Heupel will take the lead in gathering information from NFL types. They can talk to scouts, coaches, even general managers. Those evaluations will be crucial.

Underclassmen must declare for the draft by Jan. 15.

"It’s going to be a process,” Bradford said. "Even if I think I know what I want to do right now, there’s kind of a need to get as much information as possible so that looking back on this decision years down the road you don’t regret anything because you didn’t go after the information needed to make the right decision.”

Bradford has a lot to prove. But to totally dismiss him as a bust before he has a chance is just plain stupid. He has a better arm than people give him credit for, and he is extremely accurate when throwing the ball in the 20-45 yard range. He is an extremely smart guy. He's a great all around athlete. He is a great basketball player and a phenomenal golfer. I'm not saying he is Joe Montana, I am saying he deserves a shot before you call him the bust of the century.

Seriously; don't tell me what the **** to do. As long as I have to endure your Bradford Homerism, you'll get to endure me showing you the error of your ways.
And by the by, that actor in your avatar is one of the sorriest sacks of shit I've ever had the displeasure of enduring for 1 to 2.5 seconds, as I hastily flip the channel past whatever dumb-shit movie he's doing this year. If it were up to me, I would have had Uma Thurman kill that mother****er on principle alone.
The world would be a better place for it.

Merry Christmas, Nut-Lickers!
Wow. You've shown you ass again, surprise, surprise. You aren't even worth my time because your acting like a complete idiot and a massive DIPSHIT. What a waste of skin.

Guess, what, just because you act like a complete ****tard, doesn't mean you are making a point about Bradford-you aren't and haven't-you're a jaded prick. Merry Christmas, ****head and stick to what you know best... NOTHING.

I hope he comes out so there are two legitimate Franchise QB's in the draft. A lot of teams will be willing to trade up to get them.

Of special note is the pass at 2:20 and the highlight that follows. Look at that receiver; he doesn't look back and he just trucks to the Northwest pylon with his hands out in front of him, and the ball just lands there like butter!

Look, here's the deal; I get hyped up about defensive players more than anything else. But even I, with my untrained eye can see that this guy HAS SOMETHING.

Enjoy
I hate that play with the pick. Its seriously one of the dumbest plays I can think of. Its tripple coverage with 20 seconds left of the game in the middle of the field to the 20th.

With that said his stats are pretty sweet. When SC is behind he is 39 out of 57 thats over 70% when SC is down by more then a TD he is 12 out of 16 thats over 75%. When 2 tds behind he is over 80% in completions. Thats sick, thats the kind of kid you want leading a comeback. Now Im not high on the guy at all but those numbers dont lie.

against MU he threw a 30 yard pass into the redzone that was on a rope IIRC it was with less than 2 min right before the half, the guy was reasonably covered. that was an nfl throw if i ever saw one

Here's the kicker; from what I hear the announcers saying, that game was his first on the road start.

Now that Bradford and Tebow are both Heisman guys and will probably declare, you add Stafford to the mix and it gives a declared Mark Sanchez a better 'under the radar' factor that would allow KC to grab him if they play their cards right, and if Matt is gone.

This is dependent upon all those guys actually being there, but since all we do is daydream around her anyway; why not?

I've made several, actually. Now sack up and quit crying. You wanted to go down this road, so here we are.

I don't hate Bradford like alot of guys do because I see some potential in him. I rate Stafford better bc I think he can make plays and carry a team on himself more than Bradford. I think Bradford in a West Coast offense could be a good fit. His ceiling is more of the Len Dawson type. A championship type QB who is more of a game manger but can make the plays needed. Stafford is more John Elway like.

This is how I view it as well. Stafford is my top choice and I have been pimping him on this board for some time, but I also think Bradford is a very intriguing prospect, and I expect both to end up being top 5 overall prospects if they come out this year.

I'm a huge Stafford fan, but I have to spend more time defending Bradford on here than talking about Stafford, which is kind of depressing about this board at times.
