Exactly. The KC media is lazy. If we are just now getting specifics of the convos with Marty, we probably won't know our new GM was interviewed until he is about to sign his contract.

I think Clark is going to be careful and meticulous in who he interviews and hires, and I think that's the way you have to be if you want to make a long term (if all goes well) hire that you are going to turn the football operations over to. As we've talked about on this board, Pioli is the big name, but that doesn't mean he's the best candidate out there. And he seems pretty interested in going to Cleveland since that's where he got his start, so I wouldn't start thinking Pioli is our guy...
