And the Giants have built that badass Dline in the very late 1st round and the mid rounds aswell as their running game...no 1st round picks on their OL or RB's.

A badass D-coordinator and a good head coach will do that for you.
I don't think the Giants front office necessarily did it right. Yeah, they won a SB and I guess that's what counts, but would you really make that trade again? Those are arguably the 3 best players at their position in the game right now (though it's a stretch for Rivers, he did lead the league in passer rating with a hobbled running game this season).
I agree with taking a high QB when the opportunity is afforded, but I don't think the Giants went about getting theirs correctly.
