I picked Denver too, but I don't think having 8 rb's in a year means you have anybody who is reliable.

Denver or Cleveland, as they have a franchise QB in place.

If the head coach keeps Dennison (O-line coach) and Bobby Turner (RB's coach) we should be fine at RB. If we keep them we can still keep drafting late round RB's and be just fine because of the coaching and the scheme.

Neither of those guys are Alex Gibbs, as this year demonstrated pretty emphatically.

In any event "RB's check" rings pretty hollow.

How so? Peyton Hillis, Ryan Torrain, Selvin Young, PJ Pope, and Tatum Bell each averaged over 5 Yards per carry this year. 5 no names doing that is pretty impressive.

We haven't had Alex Gibbs for a while and we still are consistently in the top 5 in yards per carry and top 10 in rushing yards. The RB's got hurt, that wasn't Dennison's or Bobby Turner's fault. Turner has been here since Terrell Davis he is the best in the business for coaching RB's in our scheme.

Yes but if you were in KC you could pick your own QB and to me that would be fun.
To me I am not sure what is in cleveland or denver is better than what is out there in this year's draft. I would take my chances armed with the 3rd pick
that I could get a qb to compete with either of those teams because in KC you would have the time to do it . I think as a coach you would have more time to get it done in KC than other places.

KC. Denver would be the best, if it weren't for the fact that you are replacing one of the best coaches in the NFL. Do you think 5-11 is going to be acceptable in Denver next year? Just try telling them you are "rebuilding" and see how far that gets you.

I'll gladly take what Jay Cutler has shown in 2 years than take a huge risk with a college player.

That's like telling the dealer in your poker game that you want to give back your pocket kings, and will take your chances on the next two cards in the deck.

I'm sorry who's your running back again? 10 guys? You going to pay all of those guys like >5.0 ypc guys? You may need to cut your real talent to do that.

of course I'd pick the Chiefs, if I wasn't a fan the most attractive job would probably be the broncos

KC would be attractive to a GM
and Denver to the HC

That's the problem, although you might get a season or two of slack in Denver because you'd be starting out without a defense.

The fact is, though, that the next guy is probably going to be the coaching equivalent of Brian Griese.

Cleveland hasn't won a damned thing since 1964 (in any sport). If you were successful you'd be a minor god for the rest of your life.

We don't shell out big bucks for RB's. Clinton Portis wanted big money and he was traded. That is how it goes in Denver... RB's are expendable. As long as they show they can make one cut and hit the hole in college, they will succeed here in Denver.

Denver. I'd put our current coaching staff there. Except for Chan Gailey. I'd make Paul Hackett their coordinator.
