It is painfully obvious that college football needs a playoff system. Why can't the powers that be see this? That is the only way there will ever be a true champion.

Because that makes the season not mean anything.....yes I've actually heard people make this argument, with a playoff footballs regular season will become like basketballs where no one really cares about it.

I don't agree with it but I've heard it spouted by a few people.
