Mark Dominik would be a horrible choice

I cannot fathom why Clark Hunt would show interest in Mark Dominik, other then the fact Dominik has ties to the Chiefs/KC area (he started his NFL career as a scout with the Chiefs and is from Lawrence and went to KU), and he's young (37 years old).

The Bucs have essentially been run like the Chiefs under Dictator Carl the past several years, relying on mostly veteran free agents (especially at QB) and essentially being a stop-gap team that is good enough to win 9, maybe 10 wins in the regular season only to flame out in the playoffs.

Also if Clark is looking for the one GM out there who might actually favor keeping Herm as head coach, Dominik could be that guy.

The thing that is scary is he sounds like a Clark Hunt type of guy.

Young Check
Ties to the are Check
Cheap Check

All traits you know Hunt is looking for.

Shouldn't you guys wait for the decision to be made before accusing Clark Hunt of being cheap and being a lackey for Herm Edwards? Making mountains of mohills. I have seen NOTHING that indicates he is a strong candidate. I haven't even seen anything that indicates the guy is being interviewed. He's just been listed as a candidate the Chiefs could be interested in.

Relax, guys.

So far, I'm very pleased with the steps Hunt has taken. And my guess is, he has had a lot of talks with GM candidates that we don't even know about. Nothing leads me to believe that he isn't taking this seriously and especially nothing indicates to me that Herm Edwards has ANYTHING to do with his GM decision.

Myth. Clark is doing the right things, and has shown he's a man of his word. I trust he will do the right thing for this org. He has shown he cares about winning, by axing Carl a year before his contract expires. Herm is also gone IMO. I'm really starting to like Clark.
