The trade off is that she won't be able to use the cards during that time. But that's a far better alternative to bankruptcy, which will follow her around for a minimum of 10 years (it's no longer 7).

Oh, and thanks for the correction on the bankruptcy term -- forgot they changed that in that abortion of a bankruptcy bill passed a few years ago.

Talk about shitty legislation ... sheesh.
