Wow. I sure hope Denver hires Mike Priefer.

Seriously, do teams even watch film of some of these coaches? Priefer's special teams were absolutely horrid. After Herm, Priefer is tops on my list to be shown the door. And other teams are actually interviewing him? I don't understand how the world works sometimes.

Yep but consider that Denver ST's have always been pretty crappy he would probably be an upgrade.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I would be seeking to update from terrible to good, not terrible to pretty bad. It's not like walking up a flight of stairs. But hey, if the Broncos want him, they can have him.

You're not crazy and I agree with you. But hey it is the Broncos so why do I care if they continue to suck at ST's?

Gretz was a decent sports writer when he was at the Star, and he was passable on the morning show on KCFX (at least during football season).

But he turned into such a hack that I want to puke whenever I read his stuff. Giving Herm "a second chance" is so reeruned that I can barely see straight.

A change if scenery might do him good. Or, he might still suck.

I remember here in STL, Bobby April was run out of town. The Rams special teams were HORRIBLE in 2002 and 2003.

I'd say April has done a damn good job ever since in Buffalo.

I'm not saying Priefer will do well, but there are a lot of factors to consider.

This blows my mind. You really can't do worse than Priefer did here. And he did not have the same relative talent deficit as the offense and defense did. This doesn't speak well for Josh McDaniels who I already suspected will be out of his element as a head coach. Mike Nolan stinks too.
