Apparently Shanahan promised Slowik that if he took a job in 2009, that Slowik would have a job on staff.

Heard Chiefs wanted interview Haley but that ticket invoices are scheduled to go out next week and they wanted to have a coach before then. In fear that a lot of ticket holders wouldn't renew.
