Got my tix...and staying with a friend in Cleveland.

It needs to be a Sea of Red...they don't play the National Anthem before the ceremony? I'd be tempted to add the normal Chief's salute....in DT's honor.

It should have been the Chiefs vs Bills in the HOF Game. Not that I really care and no doubt that match-up would have set record low TV ratings in the history of primetime broadcast television... but it would have been appropriate not just to honor the guys from both teams going into the HOF this year, but also the fact the NFL will be marking the beginning of their season long celebration of the 50th anniversary of the AFL.

Actually, I just found out the wife may want to make the trip.

I just assumed I'd take a buddy - she usually turns down these kinds of events because she's been to them entertaining clients - Super Bowls, World Series, etc.

Sounds like we may make a long weekend of it in Cleveland and hit the R&R HOF as well.

Time to start looking for hotels...

One, because I'm driving in from St. Louis. No reason to drive PAST Canton and make the drive longer.

Two, hotel rates are out of ****ing control around Canton.

I'm looking at going and I've got a buddy that lives in Massillon which is basically another city with Canton,so I wouldn't have to worry about hotel expense.

Went to the Hank Straham,Marcus Allen induction and it was a great time,you guys will love it.
