I don't think anyone personally hates anyone else but when you have to explain something or have the same argument every single damn day and sometimes with the exact same people your patience starts wearing thin.

That doesn't even mention the huge number of people that will post an extremely uneducated draft take. If you can't take the 10 minutes out of your day before you post to read the rest of this board and use the lovely thing called the internet to learn and make an intelligent draft post why should I be nice to you?
I understand getting frustrated arguing with the same people about the same shit all the time. I do it alot with some of the hermits in DC.

But everyone has an opinion and some are better than others just like last year when you kept arguing that Jake Long sucks but it turns out he did good and went to his first Pro Bowl. Those that you argued with would probably call you an idiot right now.

Well they'd be wrong when LT's taken numerous picks after him were just as good...

I argued he wasn't worth a top 5 pick..I still stand by that.

No they wouldn't be wrong that is why it is called an opinion.

Also no other rookie tackle made the Pro Bowl so I don't why you would say they were better or just as good this year.

I think it's pretty well acknowledged that Clady had just as good if not a better year and Albert was good this year too...

I don't think Long justified himself as being 12 picks better than the next OT drafted. To me all the OT's were similar that's why he wasn't worth that pick.

That is fine it still is an opinion.

BTW I am just playing devils advocate and you haven't been mean to me for having a difference of opinion.

I only get nasty with people when they keep arguing the same thing for 2 months or they say something reeruned like "the draft chart is dumb" that would be like a lawyer going "well I think this law is dumb"

Personally I think Eugene Monroe is a more complete prospect than Jake Long was.

I would just ignore them after awhile and let their stupid statements speak for themselves

most trades dont match up totally with the chart, and i know some lawyers who think some laws ARE dumb, and have argued that in court

Long was the first overal pick, and the Dolphins got a lot of attention because of the turnaround.

Pro Bowls voting isn't always about selecting the best players.

It's a popularity contest, and name recognition.

And average dumbass fan wouldn't know Branden Albert from Eddie Albert, or Ryan Clady from Jack Ryan.

IMO long was the 1st pick because he was going to be easier to sign, cheaper, and the cornerstone for the oline. parcells likes line play and builds from that. and by most accounts long was ahead of the others drafted. now MM (i think) had albert, but most people were against him being a lt right? so basically when it comes to the draft it's a crapshoot.

I would agree with that. Like I said I was just playing devil's advocate though I did before the draft and still do think Long is a very tackle. I wanted to take Ryan though and was very happy with Dorsey.
