He clearly hasn't helped himself, but I think this is an entirely different kind of pressure than what he's used to facing in game situations.

There no doubt was a lot of pressure for him to play well in the Rose Bowl after a good season, and he came out and had one of the better performances you'll ever see.

I'll take what he does in games over a workout.

Derrick Williams hasn't helped himself either, but the kid in game s has performed, so I'll take that kid in the draft in the right spot also.

I just don't think he is ready. I think he is immature. He didn't listen to his coach or his parents about going back to school. I wonder how well he will take coaching.

I'm not going to argue that he didn't hurt his draft stock with his combine showing.
He may very well have, and may go into a free fall in the draft, unles he relly impresses at his pro day.

However, having watched all his games, I saw a mature kid with outstanding pocket presense.

He looked like a natural leader.

If you think he lacks maturity, then you have no idea what the hell you are talking about.
