I'm fine with bringing in FA's to fill holes, you cant fix everything in 1-2 drafts alone.

It's necessary to do it when your team is in a transition like this, especially on defense where we're evidently changing our philosophy from a 4-3 to 3-4, and LB was our biggest need on defense. We have virtually nobody outside of DJ.

FA is ok when you can draft well also. That was the reason why this team fell off the earth so fast after DV and Carl. We drafted like crap and didn't have anyone to replace the vets that left, or those that did replace, never had a decent amount of PT since DV was all for playing the vets over rookies.

If you can get some good FA and draft well along with playing the rookies in order to get them up to speed, then I see nothing wrong with trying to expensive FA's here and there. But WE HAVE TO DRAFT WELL.
