Interesting that a few of these guys are mid to late 1st rounders. Maybe that indicates they strongly believe that can trade down.

I keep seeing Z. Follett's name keep coming up. Yah boy. That kid can play. I can see him excelling in the pros-he's a headhunter. Damn, I hope we get a shot a drafting him.

Hope so.

I like that we're looking at Pat White too. Provided he can be had in the later rounds, he presents a potential to create some unique mismatches 3 or 4 times a game.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese worked out Abilene Christian quarterback Billy Don Malone this week, according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.

A 26-year-old Division II star, Malone passed for 34 touchdowns and 2,944 yards last season. He only threw six interceptions.

Malone began his collegiate career at Tulane in 2002 as a blue-chip recruit who turned down offers from Texas, Tennessee and LSU.

According to a New York Times article, Malone had issues at Tulane, including a heart problem, a marijuana habit and a low grade point average.

Since leaving Tulane, Malone has found religion, gotten married and is the father of two children.

At 6-foot-3, 230 pounds, Malone has ideal pro size and a strong arm.

I think Chase Holbrook out of New Mexico is a very intriquing prospect. He has everything you look for in a QB, he just had no supporting cast. He'll be a late round pick, that could actually turn into a quality QB.

He's one of the guys I posted on another site about. I'd love KC to get him.

He's a high-motor, high-character, football player first-type, but he's probably better suited as an OLBer in the 4-3. He could possibly transition to ILBer in a 3-4, but as much as I'd like to see him here, if we are thinking 3-4 we may be better served to look elswhere.

I believe that the Broncos never reported talking to Jay Cutler.....and then they drafted him.

Sweet! I really hope we find a way to bring Roger Allen to KC. He is a friend of mine, but more importantly he is a great guy, hard worker, team player, and a home town kid from Raytown (not too far from the stadium at all)! I would love to see him busting skulls for the Chiefs some day. He would too!

I watched Malone play in person twice last year.

He has a lot of physical skills, but folds under pressure. Well, he only faced pressure in exactly one game last season, anyway, and he folded.
