They still have Kansas a #2 even after getting whooped by Baylor and Tech. If KU gets a 2, I will shit myself and not change my drawers for weeks. No freaking way.

Do you know how you can get 7 teams to lose in the first round? Invite 7 Big 10 teams to the tournament. What a joke.

I don't see anyway possible that the Big East doesn't get three #1 seeds this year. That has got to be some sort of record.

OU will get a higher seed. If the college basketball season was broken into its three parts, here is how the selection committee would rank them. #1 being most important for seeding:

1. Non-conference (body-of-work)
2. Conference play
3. Conference tournament

Well, you said their resumes were similar. If they are similar, and one finished first in conference and one finished third, and the third place team wins the conference tournament, then you say MU is more deserving, isn't that valuing the tournament more then the regular season championship?

MU didn't get dominated by A&M. MU shot over 50% and still lost by 10 since A&M was lights out and shot over 60%.

MU got destroyed the first half and came back to make the score closer than the game was. They were never in the game though.

And, by the way, as much as you are beating your chest about KU losing to Texas Tech, the exact same thing could be said about that game. TT shot absolutely lights out that game, and KU still had a chance to win it at the end.

Well to be fair, I'm not sure anyone would call a 10 point loss getting "dominated."

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall any committee members saying they factored in point differential. So thump your chest all you want, but a loss is a loss in their eyes.

I agree with this...I was responding to doomy because he said KU deserved a better seed over MU because they won the conference.

OU will end up with a better seed than KU & what did OU win?

IMHO...MU, OU & KU all have similar resumes.

Oh yeah, we did get dominated that game. Sorry, tried to wipe that one out of my memory and had it kind of mixed up with Baylor.

The season doesn't end with the regular season. I said their resumes were similar, taking into account all games played all season, including the nonconf, conference, and tournament play. I think you can make an argument for any of the three teams deserving a #2 seed, as we've seen here.

You wanna show me where I said that?

As far as I know, the only thing I have said about where they should be seeded is where I said they should be lumped in with OU, Duke, Villanova for the remaining #2 seeds...

Here is a stupid hypothetical. IF KU's and MU's positions were reversed. That is, if MU had finished third in conference, but in the top 15 in the nation. If KU was playing in the Big 12 Championship today, but had only had to beat one mediocre team and one good but not great team to get there. If basically the rest of the elite teams had lost in the last two or three days...would KU be getting talked about as a potential #1 seed right now?

I was sure as Hell responding to your post. But that response wouldn't be characterized as a comeback, because the post of yours that I responded to wasn't directed at me. It was directed at whoever would believe your fraudulent depiction of MU fans.

Now, your response to my post, where you called my post a comeback? THAT was a comeback.

Not if KU had finished third in conference.

But yes, if KU had won conference like they did and were now playing for the tourney championship. I still think they would likely have ended up a #2 though. Probably the #1 two seed.
