I can't understand how Arizona could get in over San Diego State... not that this hasn't been covered. their RPI and SOS were both like 30 places better, were they not

a valid point....they came up 2 pts short against St Mary's....and had some other close calls...but no "big wins".

I guess the argument is the RPI....and the "mediocre conference record" argument another poster made....

Do you reward a mediocre season (.500 or worse) in a major conference over a good season in a mid-major, or sub-major if you will, conference?

Tough call.

I just dont like the East Coast Sports Network's slurping of east coast teams....and Arizona (they have always had a man-crush for Lute Olson).
