i'd say this ladies husband doesn't attend any union meetings. the president, or head of the bargaining committee can accept or refuse the proposal, but the membership has to vote to ratify the contract.

Depends if they have a strike fund. Even then it is partial wages for a limited time.

If they move the games to the GA Dome I'll buy season tickets. If they use any of the SEC venues I'll go at least once.

you cross the picket line...if you think things are bad now....try crossing a picket line....i will tell you i am a Union Man, and each is to their own, but if one was to attempt to cross the line, violence would errupt, i am almost sure of that. Those individuals who are on strike will be fighting for their jobs, and the scabs who cross, would be in fear of getting retalitated against. You also have to remember another thing, other Unions would also help and assist another Union, if asked too. Its called Soladarity! Once the line goes up...no one will want to cross the line.....even non-union persons....look at the history of the Unions and strikes from the recessions eras.

Ah not so much. How many people do you know that get paid for pouting for more money and not working? Union workers get paid by the hour. When they don't work the clock doesn't move either.

Was this a serious question? If so your a grade A dumbass

not entirely true....they receive strike pay...which is a token of what their hourly rate is. No unemployment and no wage, but, they get strike pay. Was that a serious answer? if so, ...........................................

KANSAS CITY, MO - The Chiefs home season might be in jeopardy because of a labor strike at Truman Sports Complex, according to Kevin Kietzman with 810 Sports Radio.

According to Kietzman, there are five days left in a labor contract between the builder and the Ironworkers Local Number 10 Union. When the contract expires at midnight on March 30, Kietzman said the iron workers and carpenters will go on strike. If that strike lasts 30 to 60 days long, the Chiefs will have to play their entire season on the road.

Jackson County released this statement after the announcement on Wednesday afternoon:

"Despite rumors to the contrary we are confident that the parties involved in these negotiations will reach a settlement that will allow work to continue at the Jackson County Sports Complex. When completed these renovation projects will give the fans and members of our community the great facilities they have been promised and maintain our place as a leader in sports venues in the United States."

Kietzman reported that opening day for the Royals would not be affected. The Chiefs would have to play every scheduled home game at the opposing team's stadium.

FOX 4 will have more on this story at FOX 4 News at 5 and 6.

I always thought the best way to "fight for your job" was to keep going and working every day.
