You're a Chiefs football reerun if...

....you want to move Branden Albert from left tackle.

....you want to draft a right tackle with the third overall pick.

....you want to draft Michael Crabtree with the third overall pick.

....you want to draft Aaron Curry with the third overall pick.

....you think Tyler Thigpen should be given a chance to "compete."

....you have anything positive to say about Carl Peterson, Herm Edwards or Gunther Cunningham.

Did I miss anything? Add to the list.

In most years I'd generally agree it's a stupid idea to draft another QB and all that but this year I'm straddling the fence about it...

Alot of these players aren't really worth their picks, a guy like Aaron Curry being considered a top 5 player is all we need to know about that.

For what this year is and for the position the Chiefs are in you honestly may be better off taking Sanchez. You go into the year with both, you see if Cassel has it or not..you see what you got in Sanchez.

And also with the spread QB draft being next year best case scenario you can deal one of them get a high pick back in what looks to be a better draft for what our team can use.

i'm beginning to think this would be ok, we just need soooooo much more. we would be spending our #1 and #2 on qb's(and a lb) but if we could flip it next year.....

But if one of those QB's is a franchise guy, especially if it ends up being the guy you drafted people will look back and go "it was the right thing to do"

I agree with this, the only guys I see worthy of our pick this year are QB's.

Aaron Curry isnt top 5 material yet Sanchez is? Based on what? You've only seen him play in 13 games and he's top 5?

This doesnt matter anyway, I am 99.99% sure we will NOT have the 3rd pick by the time the draft comes around. There are too many teams right now who need qbs. SF, Jets, Denver, and the Jags. Those teams will try to trade up to our spot because by the 5th pick, both Sanchez and Stafford will be gone. Stafford to Detroit and Sanchez to Seattle.

What argument is so far out there? Taking Curry at 3 if KC doesn't trade down? Liking Matthews more than Cushing? Thinking that there is no way in hell Pioli takes Sanchez at 3?
