OK lets see it

Whos got some kick butt video of the greatest LB in NFL history Aaron Curry? What I've found is really pretty unimpressive. I can't see in film why he's ranked so highly. Anyone have some good video they can point me too?

Seriously? You're going to argue that?

He was drafted as an OLB.

Regardless of the fact he ended up playing inside, they still started a 4th rounder and a 1st rounder.

The ILB v. OLB/DE/DT draft post takes it even farther.

ILB is nowhere NEAR as important as the others.

I've never seen someone so thoroughly pwned continue to argue like this.

So? Who ever we pick it's gonna cost us approx. the same amount of money. What would really suck would bepaying that kind of money to a player you reached for and then turns out to be a bust. All that guaranteed money gone for nothing because we reached. That is a recipe for disaster. And he won't be the highest paid LB in the league for long either. About one year probably.

So what if he was drafted to wash the dirty jocks out at the end of the game? It's where he is playing that counts. And he's playing where? I think it's ILB. And you are correct, they started a 4th round pick and a 1st round pick at MLB/ILB. And the back up was a 1st round pick - that is playing at ILB. What are you trying to argue? That they had two first round picks at the ILB positions, plus a 4th rounder? And that proves your case that it isn't an important position how?

Oh, so comparing three positions to one is fair? Maybe in your little ****ed up, self-indulgent, delusional universe.

Really, out of the only five guys who have went to ten Pro-Bowls, have been named Defensive Player of the Year, and have won the Super Bowl, why is it that three have been ILB, and just one a ROLB and one a DE?

Funny. I was thinking the same thing, but only about you. Especially after you backtracked on the top three to top five thing Mr. Disingenuous.

Then how about this fuqtard. If you look at my two posts.....for teams who run a 3-4....NT is more highly drafted than ILB. If you look at 4-3 teams......DT or DE is more highly drafted than MLB.

Oh and for the record those two are about the same size. I just think its funny some people believe Curry can learn to be a pass rusher even though thats a lot harder to lean but other players can't learn the easier job and drop into coverage.
difference was that Gholston had a history of taking plays/games off. He worked out, but didnt work as hard on his game. Curry works hard at his position, and suppliments it with the gym.

Problem with your argument is that he's projected outside in 3-4 and 4-3.

Hell, a month ago, Mayock was saying Sanchez shouldn't have come out. Now he's saying that the Broncos better do everything in their power to move up far enough to take him.

I think it's hilarious when people say things like "many here say he's not worth the three pick and they wouldn't touch him with a 10' pole so they want to reach a little farther down the draft board."

NONE of us know what Pioli's draft board looks like.

Therefore, some of us choose to create our own boards, and present our opinions based on that board.

Only at CP are you criticized for forming your own opinion, instead of just being a follower of a guy with helmet hair that is wrong more than he's right, but because he's on ESPN, he must be a ****ing genius.
Its not just Kiper...Its EVERY professional talent evaluator. The reason the fact that 99% of drafts have him going in the top 5 is brought up is that it supports the argument that he is a top talent in the draft obviously worthy of the pick. Your arguments against him put YOU in the minority. Thats cool, but talking to people like they're clueless or uninformed because they disagree with you doesnt make you some enlightened guru and everyone else a bunch of followers. It just means our oppinion is in the majority. I see louder criticisims coming from your court than ours.

I don't really even look at the mocks I just look at the prospect rankings. Started that back in Oct..

He did that? I don't keep track of stuff like that but if that's true then Mecca should be the last person to be calling people names. LOL Really?

But YOU know. How dare I doubt you.

Argumentative guy on the internet with a bad track record, or professional talent evaluators? Hmmm. Tough one there. But hey cursing does make a pretty strong point...

Ya, we went back and forth about that one quite a bit last year. Still tries to argue that Long was a bad #1 overall for the Dolphins and that its waaay to early to judge Gholston.
