OK lets see it

Whos got some kick butt video of the greatest LB in NFL history Aaron Curry? What I've found is really pretty unimpressive. I can't see in film why he's ranked so highly. Anyone have some good video they can point me too?

That must be it. It has nothing to do with the fact that he did what he was asked to do in college exceptionally well, that he stood out at the combine, that he has no character issues, he is a very good athlete, that his workouts have gone well, etc. It's all because of Mayock!

That's kind of been the main argument of the Curry crowd, not that he's awesome. That he's safe and there's no one else to pick.

He wasn't asked to do it often. You can see him rush on occasion in highlights. Since they are highlights, he looks good rushing. I'm sure teams have game tape and can see how many times he was asked to rush and how he actually did. Even if he can't rush all that well, you have a prospect that should be able to play MLB like Patrick Willis.

Well, since Pettigrew did it all so well in college, why not make him a Left Tackle on 3rd down and a #2 burner on 1st and 2nd down.

Several teams need a LT right now that are in the top 10. The Seahawks could be a playoff team and I don't see them taking a QB that will be on the bench. The Jags have lots of holes and they Garrard, who I think Del Rio really likes. San Fran already has a lot invested in Smith and I think Singletary likes Hill too. Denver has Orton and Chris Simms who both have starting experience and Simms does have some ability.

The team that really needs Sanchez is the New York Jets. They really need him, but moving from 17 to 3 ain't gonna happen. So, yes I believe that Monroe has more trade value than Sanchez because of where teams are selecting in this draft.

ok genius.... please refute my argument. please enlighten me with your brilliance.

Don't be stupid Hamas. We are going to get that player in Germain Gresham with our first round pick next year.

I thought you guys didn't like the safe pick. How can Curry be too risky and safe all in one???? Curry does have the upside of playing outside, but it is a risk.

Well, first of all, there are 7 LTs with first round grades this year, and 3 QBs, and of the teams picking in the top half of the first round, the only ones with a definite need for LT are:

Detroit, St. Louis, Oakland, Cincy, and Jacksonville.

Combine that with the fact that there are 10-12 tackles with 1st or second round grades, and the fact that there were 7 other tackles taken in the first round last year, and several other teams still have a LT entrenched, and that there are only 3 QBs with second round grades, and yeah, I'd say the LT supply outweighs the demand.

If you draft him to play OLB, he's a horribly risky pick with little upside at 3

If you draft him to play ILB, he's a safe pick with little impact on the field.

If you draft him at #3, you're an idiot. Period.
