OK lets see it

Whos got some kick butt video of the greatest LB in NFL history Aaron Curry? What I've found is really pretty unimpressive. I can't see in film why he's ranked so highly. Anyone have some good video they can point me too?

How is drafting a LB with that pick a win now move? You say he wouldn't be an impact player so I'm confused how that would be considered a win now move.

there's NO guarantee either will play one year though, so again it comes back to which has better draft "value". the physically comparable 27 year old for the #34 or the 22 year old for #3.(stafford is out he'll be gone IMO)

The value is better with Cassel. People keep trying to compare Sanchez to someone, how about Leinart????? Who's a better prospect coming out of college Leinart or Sanchez??? When was Leinart taken in the draft???

I don't know...the NFL site has a story on the front page of their Draft section with a picture of Sanchez side by side with Alex Smith. Both had superb seasons in their last season, coming off a big BCS bowl game victory. I know Mecca will flip out, yet again, but the comparison between Smith and Sanchez does have some validity.

Sanchez and Smith are nothing alike unless you are a complete moron that has no understanding of offensive schemes and how they are different. If some guy wrote a story about Sanchez and Smith and actually has more than 1 line to tie them together he's either grasping at the weakest straws ever or he's making it up.

Also basically any self respecting draft person will tell you Sanchez is a better prospect than Matt Leinart was.

I understand that the schemes are different, but in terms of what they accomplished in college, coming out early, having a lot of positives in terms of pro potential (I seem to remember that the pro scouts actually gave Smith a standing ovation at his pro day because he was so impressive), size, arm strength, intelligence, leadership ability, etc.

I fully understand that Pete Carroll and Urban have two completely different philosophies for running an offense, both of which have been incredibly successful. But besides that, there are a lot of similarities between Smith and Sanchez. And I think that Smith still has a chance to be a decent quarterback in the NFL. How he was handled in Frisco was not good at all. I don't have a lot of hope for him with Singletary as his head coach, but then, I feel for every single player on that roster at this point.

The 2 main differences of course being that Smith has hands the size of a small womans....

And Sanchez is from a pro style offense where Smith was from Meyers ridiculous spread which is even worse than a regular spread. Spread QB's don't fair well at the next level and Meyers offense on top of that made it worse...

That's why they aren't comparable a guy from a pro style offense is going to be much better prepared than someone that played for Urban Meyer.

They couldn't be smaller than Dave Kreig's and he played for a long time in the league.

That may be true, but you are going to have to get used to the fact that the spread is becoming a more popular option in the college ranks and as such, pro teams are going to have to be a little more open to embracing players from such systems - as well as mock junkies.

Perhaps, but if the guy is intelligent and the coaching staff patient, I don't see it as a major issue. No team is going to run the exact same system, and a quarterback will have to make the adjustment regardless in transitioning from college to the pros. And I do hear that Urban is going to be running some pro sets this next season to help Tebow out in terms of his draft status.

Are you really asking that question? You could read it on any draft site..

But to be frank, his arm is stronger, he's not system limited, he's more athletic and so forth. He's the most physically gifted QB to be at SC since Palmer.
