I really don't think our line will be suspect by the end of the draft. There's a good chance we're going OT at 3, and we'll probably pick up a Center in the draft as well. We very well could have an all world line by May.

So, you're telling me that we're going to be All-World by relying on two rookie OL draft picks for the 09-10 Team?

Who is going to comprise this All-World line? Albert? I have no idea what we have with him at this point. He could be great, he could be nothing special at all. Waters? IMO, is not the player he used to be with Roaf and Shields anchoring that line. Niswanger? McIntosh? Goff? Taylor? Hmmmm

After one year, in that offense, I can't tell you how he's going to project. Like I said, he could be great, or he could be an average NFL OT.

He still played better than almost anybody else on the team. Why **** with it just because you can?

Huh? WTF are u talking about? I'm not talking about getting rid of the guy or even replacing him, but I'm not even close to anointing the guy all-world either.

My point is, I have no idea how the guy is going to project after one season - and neither does anyone else.

He projects better than ANYONE in the draft. He's got a year of experience, and he was damn good at that.

I think the fact that he came in as a rookie, got hurt, missed part of training camp, and was able to transition from playing guard in college to LT in the NFL speaks volumes about his ceiling in this league.

Nowhere to go but up for this guy barring injury or whatever.

We could have a very good line without using the #3 on a tackle.

Oh, I'm not necessarily advocating it at all. But, it's reality at this point. And frankly, it's a better option than Curry IMO. I'm not saying we're going to light the world on fire, but I think our line will be majorly improved. So much so that LJ will rip 1200 yards + this season. It genuinely could be an all world line circa the early part of this decade in the next year or two though.
