What the hell is wrong with Denver?

I guess you can just play with 11 RB's on offense.

It's probably a top 10 pick. At least top 15. Our schedule is brutal.

I haven't read this thread so sorry if it's a repost but I just saw McDaniels on television talking about their picks. This guy looks, sounds, and acts completely and utterly clueless. If the Broncos face ANY adversity this year he's going to lose this team, lose them quickly, and lose them completely.

And I'll love every second of it.

If I was a Bronco fan I'd be pissed -- especially punting next year's first because if they aren't able to get over the hump that is very likely to grow through the season they're going to see their top 5 pick being used by someone else.

From launching Cutler to using first round picks on second round corners, this guy is a REALLY EPIC FAIL.

I've been enjoying reading the Donx fans' justifications for their craptastic draft. One guy was arguing that it was ok to trade away what could be a top 5-10 pick next year because first round QBs (like Bradford) never work out. Of course, Denver just jettisoned a talented QB to create this little problem. Awesome.

FYI of the eight teams who earned draft selections 25 - 32 in 2008, five improved by three games or more - which is what the Broncos would need to do to crack that barrier:

Tennessee 10 - 6 -> 13 - 3
Carolina 7 - 9 -> 12 - 4
Atlanta 4 - 12 -> 11 - 5
Baltimore 5 - 11 -> 11 - 5
Miami 1 - 15 -> 11 - 5

Unrealistic? Actually, it's better than 50/50.

Improve your team and win games - screw the schedule. Those last four teams above looked like breaks on everyones' schedule at this time last year.

I think the whole schedule thing is BS anyway. Every year, team's that look like pushovers make the playoffs and teams that look like world-beaters go 3-13.

Earlier in this thread I posted comments that in some ways could be seen as defending the decision-making process of the front office of the Denver Broncos's organization. Although I am not unduly disappointed witht he 1st round selections, I want to retract any statement that could be seen as implying that the current front office is not among the worst in the league, possibly in the history of the league.

How many times have you seen a team trade a near-certain top-ten pick for a second rounder? Hell, I think there's a decent chance that's a top-five pick.

In fact, I think there's a more than decent chance this little fuqtard has now inadvertently pissed away his second franchise QB.

Trading their 1st rounder next year was the stupidest move I'd seen in a long time (up until Al Davis made his 2nd pick)....

That's going to be a high pick next year. Trading the 15 for the 37 doesn't make much sense.

I get that...but can anybody really explain to me how Dunn was worth 2nd round value...really?. Great day to be a bronco hater despite not having the best day as a chiefs fan. I believe Dunn was given way too much credit
