Q: Where are you at?
ALEX MAGEE: “Down in Greenville, Mississippi with my family.”
Q: What do you know about Kansas City?
MAGEE: “
I know you guys have a fairly good team. My boy (S) Bernard (Pollard) is down there, too. I’ve talked to a lot of players down there; the team has a lot of good players. Things are definitely getting changed around and I am just excited to come and help you guys do that.”
Q: When was the last time you talked to Pollard?
MAGEE: “It has been awhile. As a matter of fact I didn’t catch him the last time I was down there. I played with him for a season and he is a cool dude.”
Q: Do you figure to play right away?
MAGEE: “Yeah, most definitely.”
Q: What did the Chiefs tell you when they called you?
MAGEE: “We talked about our visit last time and how serious everything was. He told me I definitely have a chance to come in and make an impact right away. We talked about yesterday and the reason I was disappointed is because I have such high expectations for myself. I just want to get my foot in the door. I feel like I have a lot to prove to a lot of people in this world. That is what we talked about.”
Q: How do you feel about rushing the passer?
MAGEE: “We are going to get to the quarterback. The D-line coach there taught me some things that I really didn’t know. I am just excited to get in there and see what he has to teach me. We will definitely get to the passer.”
Q: How do you see yourself lining up on defense? Do you anticipate the three or the five techniques?
MAGEE: “It really doesn’t matter; I played all of those positions in college.”
