I don't understand why people buy this sort of thing... What is the appeal?

Just personal preference. Like I said, I usually don't care for soundtracks. This one really appealed to me. Ironically, the last soundtrack I purchased was for the Keaton/Nicholson Batman. Elfman was great on that.

Music. You listen to it. I know it's a new concept and all.

Not quite the same thing, but the soundtrack for "The Crow" was amazing.

I was sitting outside on a patio at a bar the other night when a group of guys are rolling downtown in their Ford Explorer, the windows are all down, blaring the Imperial March theme song from Star Wars. Just kinda had to be there......I thought it was kinda funny.

Don't ever listen to the soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian while you're driving.
Unless you're really in a hurry and don't mind killing other motorists. |
