Frank Boal leaving Fox

No idea what or for where. But I have it on good authority he'll make an announcement on-air tonight.

I'm not sure why there are sportcasters on local TV anymore anyway. I like Boal, just saying....

The news, by in large, is a waste of time. Hell, he only reason I watch (and stupidly so) is for the weather...and they delay that sh*t so you'll watch the rest of the garbage.

I remember growing up when Sports (specifically sunday nights) section of the news was awesome; a good 10 minues or so (or so it seemed) of 'coverage'. Now, the "Sports" segment is about 2 minutes.

oh well; I hope Boal get land somewhere; maybe replace Klinksgale as KK sidekick.

yep pretty much.

I remember growing up looking forward to staying up 'late' to watch the "Sports Machine with George Michael" (at least I think that's what his name was lol); it was awesome!

Then we got cable for the first time; I can't remember how old I was...maybe like 10?....and watched ESPN. Wow.

I fell in love with NFL Primetime, or it's early version...I couldn't belive there was an HOUR LONG show dedicated to recapping the sports of the day!

Oh well. Hopefully Frank gets a gig somewhere locally. Hell, he may just pack it up.

I heard from a guy he met online there was a vacant house in a nice community in Durham,NC. There might be some childcare involved but that's ok.

Frank Boal will still be doing some sort of work with 810 sports. Carrie Coogan is full time on Johnny Dare Morning show.
