Personally, I think you would have been better off going with a guy like Quinn. Farve is likely entering his last season now that he'll get to play for the Vikings like he wanted too. He has one or 2 left in him and might not even have that. It's a risky pick, but might help you for one year if the surgery helps him any.

My reaction was "Ok, so he's the guy to actually draft Favre". Overall, Favre really has average value to me... he's not the guy he used to be and the Vikings are a run first/defensive team. And, technically (unless I've missed it during my 8 day break from the Internet)... he's not on a team. You drafted him on the 'chance' that he signs and starts enough games... personally, I think Orton would have been a better choice at this point for the short and long term.
