I think we won't see it until next year. They tried it a bit in preseason but never realy did anything. At this point the Chiefs are concentrating on simplifying the offense and going with plays they know work, using different formations. And the pass blocking has been such that they realy have not needed it for any purpose. But I would look for it next year, especially if Grunhard retires or leaves and Shields does not get a new contract...

Well right now it seems every team we've played has played us to stop the run...and they've been pretty successful...the fact is that no matter how bad our running game...teams still think we are going to run...because of that we've had some moderate success passing...using the shotgun now will only tell the other team that we are going to pass...why give them an edge...as it is...they way we call plays...we all know the Chiefs have called a few 3rd and long runs...no shotgun yet...
