I am a little concerned about Zack Thomas. He has missed A LOT of time, and though he probably doesn't need it, you wonder if his heart is still in it.

Also, I think anytime you run a 3-4, you need to have all four of your starters gelling together.

i think his heart is in it, he showed up in great shape...the question with him and vrabel and others, is will their bodies hold up 1 more year...

It does sound nice to hear a head football coach in KC who DEMANDS his players do things his way instead of politely asking them if they don't care to do it this way. It actually brings some excitement to this year.

It sounds like Corey Mays who's playing ILB for him is showing some promise though. Is that something you've seen?

Mays definitely looks the part, and made a lot of plays during the scrimmage while I was in RF. We won't know for sure until the live fire starts...
