No it doesn't. If the HC or GM thinks he should be....it is greater evidence than anything you can ever bring. I can't believe the you think that a Carl/Herm guy is so great that he has no accountability to the new staff. When you are the OC or GM of a Super Bowl Team then your opinion counts.

Bowe is more than a solid WR, he is damn good for the amount of time he's been in the NFL. This is nothing more than a motivational tactic to get Bowe to improve his concentration and work ethic.

And yes, he is still twice the WR anybody on Oakland's roster is.

Haley is trying to instill some work ethic. The demotion is a motivational tool. I'm sure Bowe will be back to starting by the 3rd preseason game.
