Trading top-tier WR who still has two years on his contract for a 3rd string injured QB and a non-top 5 draft pick would be the most one-sided trade in recent memory.

He won't be healed in 2 weeks. The doctors think another 4 weeks until fully healed.

Speculation: Arizona wanted a gaurantee that Thigpen would be fully healed within 2 weeks before pulling the trigger on the Bouldin trade.

Take it for what its worth....
Why would they care. It's not like he'll be playing in two weeks anyway. Warner will be playing.

I'll add to the fire; If this rumor is in any way serious then Orton's injury would help us out. Denver desperately needs a QB and if they trade for Leinart then the Cards would need a backup QB. I don't care if it's Thigpen or Croyle plus a 2nd rounder - I'd be all for that deal.

I'm not saying there is or isn't any validity to this rumor, but here are two other rumors involving Marshall. One is even a "three team deal".

Eric the blogger started all this?

The Giants DO NOT NEED Braylon Edwards -- What, so Edwards can join the rest of the cast of Giants WRs that can't hold onto the ball it they're life depended on it.

Perfectly throw -- 80 yd pass in the endzone last Sat -- ball hits him in the numbers -- Bam, right threw his hands -- blows the TD

It is the exact same player that cost the Giants the game against the Eagles in the playoffs -- No thank you -- I'll trust Tooms over Edwards any day.

How come you didn't link me up to this post in the same thread at footballguys? Eric the blogger knows zilch about the Giants. Who is he? Does he make good signatures? That's all I care about... lol

Kidding aside, I'm at work and did not have the time to read this thread or that thread -- sorry -- I was just skimming -- Hope Thigpen is ok

This is another rumor on a local sports radio program in Missouri. Someone from Warpaint Illustrated (magazine for the Chiefs) reported on the program that a 3 team deal is being discussed between the Cardinals, Chiefs, and Broncos. Here are the parts I caught:

Denver gets: Matt Leinart

Chiefs get: Anquan Boldin

Cardinals get: Brandon Marshall and Tyler Thigpen

I would have to think this would make the least sense for the Cardinals. I would think they would want additional defensive help from one of the teams.

Dylan,

I post a lot of things that I hear. Some true and some not. When it's posted from "the source" its as rock solid of information as it comes. People have developed opinions on the validity of that information from "the source". Which is why you see 1,900 views of this thread. The info is considered as true as it can get coming out of Arrowhead. so I don't mix and match. "the source" information has to be clearly labled, kind of like a USDA regulation. They have never been wrong. For instance, This board knew a full 2 days in advance of any other media(local or national) that LJ's foot was broke, not a sprain like the Chiefs were trying to pass it off as. Man, did I get flamed for that one. and not enough crow was eaten either...

In this case I can't vouch for the validity of the deal but can vouch for the Dr. visit, the results and the results needing to be sent to another doctor asap.
