Hank Baskett released....

Adam_SchefterEagles have taken Michael Vick off exempt list and he will begin practicing Wednesday. To make room for him, team released Hank Baskett.

He'd be worth a look...

I don't see anyone claiming Lawrence if we cut him. The only reason he made our team is because we might have the worst WR corp in the league and don't have an overall talent level that meant we couldn't waste a spot for him. Just cut him and move him the Practice squad and let him learn there.

Go figure.
i dont know if i'd agree with that. . . we did have some good talent over that span. Its just when you have terrible coaching it can make players seem less talented then they really are. but i think we were definately in the top 3.

i think the least talented was the lions hands down, they had a decent coach but their players were just awful last year.

if i remember right we were at least in the lead until halftime in most of our losses. which tells me we just made poor mid-game adjustments, which means 14 losses a season.

GIVE ME A BREAK.

The Chiefs have gotten rid of more than 30 players this year. Only TWO are currently on an NFL roster: Gonzalez and Babin.

If that doesn't tell you that this team's roster completely sucked (sucks) ass, nothing will.

Dude, he's too fast and has way too much upside to try and sneak him through waivers.

If the Chiefs get Baskett (or another free agent receiver), Copper or Engram will be the next to go.

The Raiders looked like they drafted some decent WR's this year, or maybe the chargers are just wayyyyyyyyyy overRATED. and lawrence isnt 4.2 fast, which is what gives Al "the evil emperor" Davis a boner, other than his viagra perscription.

Urine idiot.

The Detroit Lions were 7-9 in 2007. The Raiders were the same as the Chiefs, 4-12.

Last year, all three teams sucked ass but the Lions and Raiders definitely had more talent on their respective teams than did the Chiefs at the beginning of 2009.

We just might have a shot at Baskett.
It's been reported that David Tyree was worked out by the Rams today.

I don't think people understand the effect of talent on performance and how it's interrelated with other performance factors like team chemistry, coaching, discipline, etc.

The Raiders and Lions are ABSOLUTELY more talented than the Chiefs. It's a measure of pure athleticism. It doesn't in any way mean they're a better football team, because it's not the sole determining factor in winning.

I think there can be a further distinction between talent and athleticism can be made.

We have several physically gifted players who do not translate that into productivity on the field.

Like who? Besides Dorsey, who's playing out of position, I can't think of one.
