Tyson Jackson is a 3-4 DE. Please let me know what you don't understand about his position. He will probably NEVER be a huge pass rusher. That responsibility falls on the OLBs in a 3-4 defense.

So you spend a #3 pick on a D-end in the 3-4 when you had the record setting worst pass rush in the NFL?

You were refering to the whole team stuffing the run and I pointed out the Raiders scored the game winning touchdown running the ball.

We also couldn't stop the run at all last year. So we picked a guy that could help us with that. And we did stop the run much better today. Certainly much better than anyone on this board thought we would.

And when I was referring to the Chiefs stopping the run today, it is in relation to Tyson Jackson doing his job. Obviously he isn't going to make a difference on a short pitch to the opposite side. Not unless he has a rocket up his ass.

So instead of drafting Donald Washington there wasn't a guy in the 4th round who could play aginst the run? This team is 7 million under the cap floor too. They could have overpayed for a guy like Greg Ellis instead they did nothing.
